Dr. Marc Vanlangendonck (Belgium, °1959) is the founder and president of Expeditions, operates worldwide since 1985 in the field of applied anthropology. His expertise focuses on the domain of planned change, and this from different angles. Marc has several sensitive policy reports commissioned by governments and international organisations to his name. He teaches anthropology at University of Leuven and is directly connected to the research of ATHOS, IMMRC and the Master in Tourism. Every year he guides students in their Master's thesis. Marc supervises and is involved in any project or initiative of Expeditions. As historian and anthropologist, he believes very strongly in an interdisciplinary approach, which is created by the multidisciplinary Expeditions research teams.
