Intercultural mediation concerning immigrants with cancer
In co-operation with the VLK (Flemish League against Cancer)
Expeditions is performing a broad scope research
project on intercultural issues affecting immigrants
diagnosed with cancer.
No less than three independent Expeditions research teams will explore this more or less fragmented field of expertise. In a first phase this will be done by means of in-depth interviews with intercultural mediators, doctors, health care personnel, patients and their relatives.
